Taewon Jagal Madang

Taewon Jagal Madang is an excursion boat pier near Taejongdae where haenyeo sell sea squirt, octopus, and turban shells. Visitors eat the seafood on mats and raised platforms directly in front of the beach while looking out at the sea. The seafood is caught by haenyeo just before it is served, and the sound of waves rolling the gravel can be heard. The view is better from the hillside than from Jagal Madang itself.
