Asagaya Station

Asagaya is a residential sightseeing area in Suginami Ward, Tokyo, centered on Asagaya Station and several shopping streets. The south side has the long, fully arcaded Pearl Shotengai, and the Chuo and Sobu lines reach Shinjuku Station and Tokyo Station in 20 to 30 minutes. Small shops line the space under the elevated tracks beneath the station, and the shopping streets at both the north and south exits are busy. On weekends and holidays, Chuo Line rapid trains do not stop.
