Kasuya Hozenji

Kasuya Hozenji is an old udon shop in Hozenji, Osaka, serving udon with beef and offal. Aburakasu thickens the tsuyu, green onions and vegetables go on top, and yuzu-scented kombu comes with it. The owner cooks alone at an eight-seat counter. Dust and grime remain on the kitchen, the counter, and the fan, so those sensitive to hygiene should avoid it.
